Banff Gondola tickets are valid for the date selected and for one time use. Ticket includes 8 minute Gondola Ride and access to the interpretive centre at the top of Sulphur Mountain and restaurants. Wear layers, as you can experience unpredictable mountain weather changes. Ride the Lake Louise Gondola or open Chairlift at the famous Lake Louise Ski Resort. Once you reach the top, venture out on our hiking trails or enrich your visit with our complimentary Wildlife Interpretive Centre. Keep your eyes peeled for bears as it is one of the best places on earth to see wild grizzly bears in their natural environment. In the summer, Sunshine Village is a place where wildflowers bloom bright and plentiful. Guests receive a ticket for the Gondola and chairlift. The Gondola ride is 4.5km long and has an 8 person capacity.Once at the village, you can explore the trails on your own or take your sightseeing experience to greater heights aboard the Standish Chairlift to 2,385 m (7,825 ft) and experience the 360 degree breathtaking views.
The chairlift ride is approximately 8 minutes. Sitting on the doorstep of some of the best hiking in the world, you set the pace for your own adventure. There are approximately 12kms of interlocking trails to be discovered and can be done at your own pace. You can choose to walk for as long or as short as you like. There is a cabin on site (in the village) to enjoy a refreshment or two! Learn more.

At the top of the chairlift you will have access to the historic Cliffhouse Bistro and get ready to say “wow” (and don’t forget to keep an eye out for some of our ‘wilder’ neighbours – Norquay’s often a spot for some lucky Black and Grizzly Bear viewing, during the summer months).

Mt Norquay Sightseeing Chairlift Tickets are valid for a single use any day/time during the current summer season. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the chairlift. The minimum age is 2 years. You can park at Mt Norquay ( although parking is limited). Or park at the Banff Train Station and catch a free shuttle bus up to Mt Norquay (departing hourly). Learn more.
