Panorama Snowmobile Tours

Tours depart from Toby Creek Adventures’ operations base near Invermere, British Columbia, about 2 hours from Banff. The full-day tour runs for 3.5-4 hours, and the half-day tour runs for 2.5-3 hours. Please arrive at the base 30 minutes prior to your tour start time.

Your tour includes snacks, experienced and friendly guides, riding instruction, newer model snowmobiles, minor collision insurance for up to $500 in incidental damages, and use of warm boots, a certified snowmobile helmet and goggles. The full-day snowmobiling tour also includes a BBQ lunch and free play time in Paradise Basin. Snowsuit rentals and transport from Banff are available as an optional add ons.

Transportation is available from Banff for an additional fee for full day trips only. For guests that are self-driving, please meet at the Toby Creek Adventures’ operations base at 9:00am, which is located at Panorama Mountain Village near Invermere, British Columbia, approximately 2 hours south-west of Banff. Detailed driving directions will be provided in your booking confirmation.

You should wear your own warm winter gear (i.e ski wear, ski gloves and hats). Warm boots, a snowmobile helmet and goggles are provided at no charge, and snowsuits are available to rent for an additional fee if needed. A major credit card is required as a security deposit. Bring any personal daily medications (if required). 

No, most of the guests are first-timers so you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing and instruction on how to ride your snowmobile safely.

Not at all, there are no gears to change, just a simple gas and brake, and there are even heated handlebars for your comfort!

All bookings include a Ski-Doo Summit 600cc snowmobile that can seat two people. Guests can upgrade to a high performance snowmobile for an additional cost which can be selected during the booking process.

A security deposit by signed credit card slip or $1200 cash is required for each machine. The security deposit is fully refundable upon the return of an undamaged machine. Our tour pricing includes minor collision insurance for up to $500 in incidental damages to your snowmobile. The insurance protects the driver from the cost of minor vehicle scrapes, dents and breakages. Please note that damages over $500 are not covered, so please heed the advice and instructions of your guide to ensure a safe trip. For additional insurance, there are options for purchase at the snowmobile site.

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours from your tour departure time. If you need to make any adjustments or cancellations to your booking, please ensure that you contact us before the 48-hour cutoff. Reservations made within 48 hours of the tour departure are final payments. Groups of 6+ snowmobiles or 10+ guests are subject to our 7 day/100% cancellation policy.
