For helicopter tours only, choose from a 20min, 30min, 55 min flight.

Our guided snowshoe adventures, vary between 90minutes and 2hrs 15 minutes depending on the flight duration you choose. 

For the Ice Bubbles Guided adventure, allow between 4hrs 30 minutes and 5hrs 15 minutes depending on the flight duration you choose.

For the heli-snowshoe adventure, snowshoes are provided. For the Ice Bubbles guided adventure, snowshoes and ice cleats are provided. 

The helicopter flights depart from Cline River Heliport Highway in Clearwater County, Alberta (approx 2.5 hours from Banff)

Please ensure that you arrive at the Cline River Heliplex 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour. Arriving later than this could mean the cancellation of your flight.

Driving Directions from Banff (Please allow 2.5 hours driving time to reach the Heliplex from Banff and 1.5 hours from Lake Louise):
Drive West of Banff on the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 1) towards Lake Louise.
Take the 93 North exit towards Jasper.
Continue on the 93 North until you reach the Saskatchewan River Crossing and take Highway 11 East about 43kms until you reach the heli base on your right. Enjoy your flight!

During the winter months, we recommend wearing warm layers and a winter jacket to keep warm in the helicopter.

If booking this tour in the winter, please come suitably dressed as you will be landing in deep snow at high elevation. In the summer, please be prepared for the mountain weather as it changes quickly.

Yes, a one-hour stopover with or without lunch can be added to any of the flights. Usually the stopover location is at the confluence (meeting point of the Cline River and Waterfalls Creek) where you can walk up to the Twin Falls cascading along Waterfalls Creek. This stopover is available for an additional fee, please enquire for further details.

This depends on the type of helicopter available; it can accommodate either up to four or six people, plus the pilot. While not everyone can sit by a window, you will still have fantastic views during your flight. All helicopters have forward facing seats to improve the view from all seats.

We ask that you contact the heliport prior to leaving your location to confirm weather. If your flight was cancelled, we would offer a reschedule or refund.

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 24 hours outside your booked tour (up to 10 days for group bookings). No Shows and late comers will not be accommodated.
