Canmore Adventures (Winter)

Feel the rush as you mush through snowy mountain trails with your team of friendly Huskies. Sled price is $610 for either 1 or 2 people in a sled, regardless of age. One youth (age 6-9yrs) or one child (age 2-5yrs) may be added as a third person to a two person sled at an additional cost to the sled price. Tour not suitable for children under 2 years.

Please dress warmly for this tour; ski wear is appropriate (including gloves, goggles and winter boots). Please advise if you weigh more than 250lbs. 

Tour times are 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm - meet time is 1 hour prior in Canmore. 

Experience the Grotto Canyon Icewalk, a must-do winter adventure in Canmore, where you walk along a frozen creek through a dramatic narrow canyon to a stunning ice waterfall. This guided, family-friendly tour reveals incredible ice formations, unique rock features, and ancient Indigenous pictographs, while sharing the geology and First Nations history of the Bow Valley. Keep an eye out for ice climbers on the frozen walls, and come dressed in warm winter gear for a truly unforgettable experience.

Tour includes hotel pick up and drop off from Canmore and Banff, professional guide, ice cleats and hot chocolate. Tour is approximately 4 hours in duration, (2-2.5 hours of walking time) and suitable for children aged 8+. Guests should dress in ski wear including hats, mitts and warm boots.

The Mt Assiniboine & Glacier Tour is a sensational flight that transports you right by the famous Three Sisters Peaks and on to Mount Assiniboine, affectionately known as the “Matterhorn of the Canadian Rockies.” Mount Assiniboine rises majestically to 3,611 meters (11,870ft) and sits along the British Columbia – Alberta Border. This Canadian Signature Experience is our longest cave tour. It includes an 18m rappel and plenty of time to explore passages like the Laundry Chute. It is suitable for children aged 12+. You'll spend 4 hours underground. Caving is a strenuous activity; participants should be in good physical shape to partake in this tour.

The Explorer Tour may be our shortest cave tour, but it is by no means short on fun and excitement. You will spend approximately 2.5 hours underground exploring this amazing playground, passing ancient bones and cave formations along the way! Caving is a strenuous activity; participants should be in good physical shape to partake in this tour.

Experience the amazing world of ice climbing and take your winter adventures to the next level. With approximately 6-7 hours climbing, your professional and certified guide will begin the day with the fundamentals of ice climbing and progress to more challenging options throughout the day. If you've Ice Climbed before, we can also tailor the day to your level. Our private ice climbing tours can accommodate groups up to 6 people and children from age 10+. This is a fun and exciting family or group activity, and it'll definitely leave you wanting more!

Short on time? Our Half Day Ice Climbing Tour is a adventure seeker's ultimate way to spend a morning or afternoon! Similar to the Full Day Ice Climbing Tour, our private Ice Climbing tours accommodate groups up to 6 people and children from age 10+. With approximately 3 hours climbing, your guide will cater to your previous climbing experience which can include a variety of steep and mixed ice climbing or start with the basics and work your way up to more challenging climbing throughout the day. 

Escape to a pristine, snow-covered mountain lake for an unforgettable Rocky Mountains ice fishing experience, far from the crowds. Fish from heated huts set on solid ice, with expert guides using easy techniques that suit both beginners and experienced anglers, targeting Lake Trout commonly weighing 1–3 pounds. All trips include guiding, equipment and instruction - so you can relax and enjoy world-class scenery and great fishing.

All tours include professional guide, fishing gear and tackle and equipment. Prices are based on number of people in your group. The more people in the group, the more people to share the price! Children between the ages of 5 - 12 years are $181 each and must be added to the booking separately.
