Set in Alberta’s David Thompson Country, Abraham Lake is one of the region’s most striking and lesser-explored landscapes. Known for its vivid turquoise waters and dramatic mountain backdrop, it sits along the eastern edge of the Canadian Rockies, where powerful rivers have carved deep canyons over time. Just a scenic drive from Banff, it offers a true backcountry feel while still being easily accessible, making it the perfect setting for canyoning.
Abraham Lake Tours
- For the Adrenaline tour - no prior canyoning/rope experience is required, but guests should be comfortable with heights.
- For the Aquatic Tour - A physically intensive swimming experienc and expect to rappel into a 30 meter deep canyon
- Minimum age is 12yrs for Adrenaline and 14 for Aquatic
- Minimum height limit is 4ft 6in and maximum waist size is 42in
- Good physical condition is required
- Minors should be accompanied by a guardian
