What Level of Fitness or Experience Do I Need?
This tour is physically demanding, so we recommend being realistic about your fitness level. Please note that for safety purposes, climbers must be at least 12 years of age to participate.
You do not need previous experience in order to be ready for the climb. You will go with a guide who will guide you through everything you need to know and help you through any rough spots.
How Long Does It Take? What Will I See?
You can find a via ferrata tour for different fitness levels, ranging from 2.5 hours to 6 hour tours. What Do I Wear, and What Should I Bring?
For the via ferrata tour, we recommend you wear clothing made of breathable fabric that does not restrict movement. Worn-in footwear is recommended to avoid discomfort. We will provide safety equipment like a helmet and harness for you, and you will be locked in at all times to a safety rope.
Bring lots of water so that you don’t get dehydrated, and any snacks you want to have during the climb. Be aware that bringing a camera, while tempting, may not be a good idea. We cannot guarantee that it will be safe in this rock-dense area.
What If I’m Scared of Heights?
The routes on the via ferrata climb steep cliffs and overlook valleys. If you are scared of heights, this adventure might be a little too intense for you! Instead, we have plenty of other options for thrills that do not involve being above the ground!
