Activity #2: Western BBQ & Barn Dance
Price: $99 (Ages 13+), $29 (Ages 12 & under)
What’s better than a true western BBQ! This year, we’ve partnered with Banff Park Ranch to launch an all-new BBQ and Barn Dance event! Unleash your inner-cowboy at this limited-time Western event on August 29th.
The event schedule is as follows:
5:30 pm - As golden hour approaches, you’ll get shuttled from Mount Royal Hotel directly to Banff Park Ranch Rundle Round house. Inspired by Canada’s unique pioneering history, Rundle Roundhouse is named after the majestic Mount Rundle, which towers over the park.
5:45 pm - Take a moment to take in the natural beauty of Banff’s landscape, before finding a comfortable chair. As you get acquainted with the natural scenery, enjoy mouthwatering appetizers to kickstart your appetite. While dinner is preparing, join in on lawn games like Jumbo Jenga, sandbag toss, horseshoe toss, ladder ball, and more! If you have kids with you, they’ll also love the scavenger hunt!
6:45 pm - Next, dinner is served! Dig into hearty homestyle classics that’d leave any cowboy satisfied! The star of the BBQ is the tender grilled beef, but it’s also served alongside heart-warming, rustic sides! Enjoy melty mac and cheese, fire-roasted corn, and wholesome greens.
7:45 pm - Once you’ve enjoyed your fill, it’s time for a true Western tradition: line dancing! As the sound of authentic, toe-tapping country music fills the air, you’ll get a chance to step, kick, and clap the night away!
8:00 pm - As the sun begins its descent, you’ll return home. You’ll be dropped back at the Mount Royal Hotel, with full stomachs and cherished memories.
