Start the day with a thrilling half-day snowmobile tour in Golden (1.75hrs drive from Banff), riding deep into pristine alpine terrain. Follow expert guides along scenic mountain trails, through open bowls and powder-filled landscapes, while taking in sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. This unforgettable ride delivers pure Canadian Rockies adrenaline and is a standout winter experience.

In the afternoon, slow things down with winter equipment rentals and explore on your own. The drive back to Banff along Highway 1 passes through Yoho National Park and passed Lake Louise. Here are some of our recommendations for stops along the way:
