Dog Sledding in Untouched Wilderness. The only dogsledding experience in Banff National Park. Glide through quiet wilderness with expert guides and remarkable Alaskan huskies.

Step off the beaten path and experience the quiet beauty of dog sledding with no more than ten guests per tour. Our seasoned guides bring years of race trail experience, sharing captivating stories and insider knowledge while ensuring a flawless safety record. Meet our turbo-charged Alaskan huskies, world-class athletes who live to run, and see the care and devotion that make them treasured members of our family. This is an intimate, exclusive adventure where it feels like the wilderness is yours alone. There are 2 tours available: The Great Divide Tour or Mushing 101.

The Great Divide Tour is our most popular tour and longest tour, both in length (16km), and duration (1.5 hrs). Your exuberant team will carry you through some of Banff National Park’s most stunning scenery to the Kicking Horse Pass at the Continental Divide. On the return journey your guide will encourage you to “stand on the runners” alongside them, and take a turn driving the team home! There will be plenty of opportunity to get to know your dogs and take some memorable photos.

Are you looking for a more adventurous run with the dogs? Mushing 101 is our Great Divide Tour with you or your partner at the helm. Take in the breath-taking scenery of the Kicking Horse Pass, briefly crossing over into Yoho National Park over the Continental Divide on our 16km trail. This tour is for those of you who would like to experience the exhilaration of driving your own team most of the entire trip.

Dogsledding is a very popular activity during the festive season and often sells out. For up to date availaibility, please call our team on (403) 762 4554

The tour also includes a private Guide/Interpreter who will sit at the front of the sled, giving you on-the-fly instructions. You will learn about each of the dogs and their unique personalities, and about the rich history of your surroundings. When you arrive at the more technical sections of the trail, your guide will help navigate you and your team through.

If there is at any point while on the trail you and our partner would rather sit together in the sled and leave the driving to the guide, we are happy to jump on the back and take over while you sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning views. Tour begins in January.
