Lake Louise Gondola

A ticket for the Lake Louise Gondola or open air chairlift plus entry to the Wildlife Interpretive Centre.We also have Gondola & Dine packages which ticket plus breakfast or lunch.

No transportation is provided for this activity. Guests must make their own way to lake Louise Ski Resort.

Please bring warm layers/clothing as mountain weather can change instantly.

Located a 5-10 minute walk from the top of the sightseeing gondola, the Wildlife Interpretive Centre is filled with many exciting & engaging ways for you to learn about everything that makes the Lake Louise area of Banff National Park so special! Inside you will find:

• Life-sized displays of many of the animal species that call this area home.
• Information boards filled with all sorts of information about your favourite local wildlife.
• A wide variety of digital and video programming.
• Our friendly and informative interpretive staff are always on hand to answer all of your questions.
• Touch and feel animal pelts, skulls, claws, (fake) droppings and so much more.
• A small retail space filled with many books and guides for you to take home and continue your wildlife learning journey.
• Washrooms, drinking water, access to the Whitehorn Bistro, and much more!

Yes, explore our scenic hiking trails this summer and discover some of the most picturesque terrain in Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies. Trails range from 1.7 km to 2.5 km round trips and are located at the top of the Summer Gondola just above a wildlife corridor closure area. Hikers must be prepared for changing weather and trail conditions. Like anywhere in Banff National Park, assistance may not be readily available if needed.We strongly recommend hiking in groups of 4 or more.

For safety reasons pets of any kind are not permitted on the Gondola with exception of Disability Assistance Pets. If you have a special needs pet aid please let our ticket staff know and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, which allows you to change/cancel or refund your booking up to 48 hours outside your booked tour (up to 10 days for group bookings). No Shows and late comers will not be accommodated.
