Banff Adventures offers two tour packages designed for two different experience levels of canyon exploring, so whether you are trying this for the first time or coming on your tenth canyon tour, we have an experience tailored for you!
Heart Creek Canyon
With this shorter canyon Banff tour, you’ll get to learn to rappel with trained experts, slowly going to further depths until you are ready for the 60ft rappel and slide! The Heart Creek Canyon tour is perfect for beginners looking to dip their toes into canyon rappelling. Are you ready to try?
What’s included:
Your Heart Creek Canyon tour is always scenic through and through. It’s a quick drive from either Banff or Canmore to the Canyon, and we will provide a shuttle for your ride to and from the starting point. Imagine a beautiful hike that includes a lesson in rope safety, cliffs, and a rappel and slide down a waterfall! You’ll get all of the fun components of the tougher Ghost Canyon tour in Banff but at a slower, tourist-friendly pace. We also provide a list of suggested items to bring for all participants. All participants must be above 12 and good with heights. You do not need to have experience in ropes or rappelling to participate.

Ghost Canyon
Looking for an adrenaline rush and a workout? The Banff Ghost Canyon tour is a full day of hiking, rappelling, and sliding through the canyons of the Rockies. Heights and depths will be your friend on tour day. Be ready for an intense mountain adventure!
What’s included:
This full-day Banff tour will start with us picking you up from your hotel or meeting you at our designated spot, and we will drive the group to the start of our Banff tour. There’s no need to meet us there: the shuttle is included in the ticket price. We will start with a 45 minute hike among the beautiful wilderness surrounding Banff. Bring a camera! Once we reach the top, you’ll not only get a fantastic view, but also a quick mandatory lesson on rope safety. You’ll get to experience walking creekside, practice your down rappel, and feel the thrill of jumps and slides! We also have a list of suggested items to bring for all participants. All participants must be above 14 and good with heights. No rope or rappelling experience necessary, but please know that this is a physically active day.
