Bordering Yoho National Park on the banks of the Kicking Horse River just off the Trans Canada Highway, Chancellor Peak Chalets gives a deluxe lodging experience. Our chalets consist of a master bedroom with a queen size bed, full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, a bathroom with shower, TV, and a gas fireplace. The upstairs loft contains a queen size bed, two single beds, a large soaker tub and 1/2 bath. Each unit offers a private entrance and covered deck with gas BBQ, patio table and chairs.

Chalet Capacity

Each chalet has a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children occupancy. 

When booking large groups please book one chalet at a time. For example, if you need reservations for 16 adults and 5 children you will need to divide that into three separate bookings and three separate chalets.

Rates are based on the amount of Adult guests in a Chalet; children 17 years and younger are free and must be added to the reservation (6 Adults and 2 Children Max. per chalet). 


Cancellation of reservation requires 48 hours notice. Check-in: 4 p.m. Check-out: 10 a.m. All units are non-smoking.
Limited pet policy: Only 2 pets per Chalet. $25 cost per night per pet, only five chalets are available for pets.


The chalets are located mid way between the towns of Golden and Field, B.C. just off of the Trans Canada Highway.

Coming from the East
Proceed west from the Lake Louise overpass for 55 kms. (34 miles) and proceed through Field and the Yoho National Park. At the end of the Yoho Park, on the left side you will pass three flag poles which signify the end of the National Park. Approximately 2 kms. (1 mile) after that you will come to the Beaverfoot Road. Turn left, off of the highway, cross over the railway tracks and proceed down the hill. Cross the bridge and make the first right at the Kicking Horse River Chalets sign . Proceed to the chalets with the red roofs.

Coming from the West
From Golden, BC -  proceed east on the Trans Canada Highway for 25 kms (15 miles). As soon as you pass the sign for Wild Water Adventures make the next right on the Beaverfoot Road. Cross the railway tracks and proceed down the hill and over the bridge. Make the first right at the Kicking Horse River Chalets sign. Proceed to the chalets with the red roofs.


  • Price based on double occupancy. Add $20 for each additional person in the chalet. Price does not include GST, PST and Hotel tax (total 15% tax)
  • Holiday Season (Dec 19 – Jan 3rd) is subject to an additional cost of $70 per chalet
  • 2 night minimum stay during holiday period and long weekends.
