Kicking Horse Rafting: 2936 Kicking Horse Road, Golden, BC. (Please take Beaverfoot Road exit, off Hwy #1). This is a 1 hr 15 min drive from Banff and transport is not available.

Banff Gondola: Located 2.5 km from Banff town centre, at the end of Mountain Ave. You can drive however parking is limited. Take advantage of the Banff ROAM Public Transit Route 1 which departs from downtown Banff to the Banff Gondola (one way cash fare: $2 per person).

For the Kicking Horse Classic trip guests must be 12+ years and minimum 90 lbs.  Our maximum weight limit is approximately 350 lbs due to safety reasons and the size of our gear. There is no age limit for rafting!

No, you do not need experience to raft! Most of our guests are first time rafters and our trips, equipment and briefings are designed to put the novice rafter at ease. Our guides will provide a thorough safety talk before getting into the water.

No, you can do the activities over separate days. If you do wish to do everything on one day, please allow enough time between activities. 

The Kicking Horse Classic rafting is subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. No refunds provided if cancelled within 48 hours. No refunds provided for guests that do not make their booked tour time.
